Episode 7 - Streets of Rage 4

I am so happy to announce that Evoking the Sublime has returned! Yes, season 2 has started and it feels so good.

In this first episode of 3, I sat down to talk about the history and creation of a video game 20+ years in the making: Streets of Rage 4.

Action and adventure awaits the player as they enter a world ravaged by the Calamity. They control the Kid and attempt to figure out how to pick up the pieces of the disrupted world. Episode 4 is here! On this episode of Evoking the Sublime, we discuss the creation and history of the Diablo-inspired action loot game Torchlight. Beautiful and light-hearted yet gritty and brutal, Torchlight was a game that attempted to take the action loot game and make it less dismal looking.
